A 14 mile walk or a half walk for Charity
The Annual Sponsored Wade Walk raises a great deal of money for Charity. The main charities this year are The Dingwall Hydrotherapy Puffin Pool and the Local Alzheimer’s Group. But other local charities and good causes (groups and individuals) will also benefit.
This is a popular 15 mile ramble through forest and open vista for lots of folk within our area.
Participants are taken by bus from the registration point in the Legion Hall, High Street, Dingwall to the start point at Silver bridge, by Garve and then meander back to the start point at the Legion Hall where welcome refreshments can be found.
This is also a Pooch friendly event 🙂
For those who feel they could not make this distance there is a short (6 mile) walk starting at Blackmuir woods in Strathpeffer.
Participants pay an entry fee to cover admin costs and collect a minimum of £20 in sponsorship.
